One of the practice’s doctors
Green Point · Tyger Valley · Somerset West
Weight, managed by a doctor. Every week, on a plan written for you.
A full consultation and examination with one of our doctors, your body composition measured, an eating plan written for you, and a review every week. Prescription treatment is included where it is clinically appropriate for you.
You cannot book this appointment directly. You answer a short medical form, a doctor reads it, and we telephone you. Some people are told no.
- A doctor reads it
- Every application, before anybody telephones you
- Paid by DebiCheck
- The instruction is held at your own bank
- Your answers
- Go to the doctor, and nobody else
The programme
One monthly fee. Everything a month contains.
The fee is for the programme, never for a medicine. A programme is a service, and a service may be described, priced and paid for monthly.

What you are paying for
Six things, every month, by a doctor.

01 of 06
Consultation and examination
A full consultation and physical examination with one of our medical doctors before anything is decided. Your history, your medicines and your conditions are taken down.

02 of 06
Body composition measured
An InBody scan, so progress is a measurement and not a guess. It separates fat from muscle, which a bathroom scale cannot do.

03 of 06
An eating plan written for you
A customised eating guide and diet plan, built around what you actually eat, not a printed sheet handed to everybody.

04 of 06
A review every week
Weekly follow-up by WhatsApp or email with the practice, to track progress and to adjust the plan where the doctor decides it is needed.

05 of 06
Treatment where it is appropriate
Prescription treatment is included in the fee where the doctor judges it clinically appropriate for you, after the examination. It is prescribed, not sold.

A named doctor, at a real address
The same practice, the same records, and the same doctor reading your file each month.
How you pay
One monthly fee, and a month you were not seen is a month we do not take it.
The fee is for the programme — the consultation, the scan, the plan, the weekly review and the doctor’s time. All of that is a service, and a service may be paid for monthly. It is never a price per item, and it never becomes one.
Set it the way it would be for you
Nothing here is a mock-up. The panel beside it is the practice’s own monthly run, answering.
A fee for the consultation, the scan, the plan, the weekly review and the doctor's time. Not a price per item.
1 to 28 only. The 29th, 30th and 31st do not exist in every month, and a day that moves is a day nobody agreed to.
Held at the payer's own bank. Your bank checks every collection against it.
The payer confirms the amount, the date and who is collecting, at their own bank, before a cent moves.
This is the only switch that changes whether money moves at all.
The run for September 2026
will collectR6 000
on 1 September 2026, in the morning, immediately after the credit run — often just after salaries land.
You were reviewed this month, so the practice may ask for the fee for it. It will show on your statement as a monthly programme fee, with the practice’s name and the reference you authorised.
Your own bank compares this collection against the instruction it holds. If the amount, the date or the collector does not match, your bank stops it before the practice sees a cent.

Registered Mandate

The bank holds the mandate and checks each collection against it, but the payer agreed with the practice rather than with the bank.
In the evening, ahead of ordinary debit orders.

Nobody outside the practice checks anything. The payer is not told a mandate exists.
In the evening, after everything else.
This practice uses DebiCheck. The difference between the three is not a feature list — it is the answer to who checks that a collection matches what you agreed to. The table is the Payments Association of South Africa’s own.
Nothing may be taken that a doctor did not start
Every link below has to exist before the next one can. Press one to read the rule that refuses to let it be skipped.
The rule that holds it
enforce_collection()Money may not be taken from somebody the practice has not seen. The row is still written, marked held, with the reason in words a payer would accept — a refusal that leaves no row is a refusal nobody can audit.
Every one of these is a Postgres trigger, not a check in a screen. A rule that lives in an interface is a rule the next interface does not have.
How a year actually goes
The month that decides it is month four.
Most people who stop, stop because a month went by and nobody noticed. On this programme your next date exists before you leave the room, and the practice holds it.
- BEFORE
The form, then a telephone call
You answer the medical questions. A doctor reads them. We telephone you to say yes, no, or not yet.
- MONTH 1
Consultation, examination, scan
Your first scan becomes the line everything after it is measured against. Your eating plan is written the same week.
- WEEKLY
A message that goes both ways
What is working, what is not, and what the doctor wants changed.
- MONTH 2–3
Scan, review, adjust
The plan is adjusted against the measurement, not against how the month felt.
- MONTH 4
The month people disappear
Your due-back date was set in month one. If it passes, you hear from your own doctor's rooms — and the fee for that month is not taken.
- MONTH 5+
Maintenance, then keeping it
The programme continues at the same monthly fee for as long as the doctor judges it appropriate, and stops when it is not.
A person telephones you in the morning
After 17:30, and on a Sunday
Nobody answers the telephone. So the practice answers on WhatsApp, once, in writing somebody wrote in advance.
After 17:30, and on a Sunday, nobody answers the telephone. That is true here and true of almost every practice in the country. It is said here rather than hidden, because a person deciding at nine at night is exactly the person this programme is for.
It is 21:14 and nobody is at the practice
Write what you would actually write. This is the live matcher, not a picture of one.

What the practice did with it
waitingEvery reply this system can send is one of 9 written templates. It never composes a sentence, never names a medicine, and never asks a medical question — health answers belong on the application form, behind consent and an audit trail, not in a chat window.
Whatever is said here, the practice telephones. The message is an acknowledgement and a doorway, and it is never care.
Nothing is generated
Every reply is one of a short list of written templates. No model composes a sentence to a patient, because a machine that answers a medical question is a machine practising medicine.
One answer, then a person
The system replies once and stops. A person at the practice telephones you in the morning. Two unrelated rules, POPIA section 69 and what WhatsApp charges from October 2026, arrive at the same design.
Urgent always wins
The emergency words are read before anything else in the list. If you say something urgent you are told to telephone an ambulance, and never told a price.
Please do not send medical details on WhatsApp.
A chat window is not built to hold what you weigh, what you take or what is wrong with you. The application form is: it asks for your consent first, it records who read it, and it is the only place on this system that collects a health answer at all.
Open the formWhere and when
Three rooms. One set of hours.
Every appointment is at one of these addresses, with a doctor you can name. The telephone is answered in these hours and not outside them.
